Today is the MP stage. I need to borrow sets again just like before. At this stage, we still need to do GI but its not as detail as PP stage.
New Model today --> KDL 40HX800 AUS,KDL 40HX800 ME and KDL 40HX800 EA.

One set problem with carton

Today we sent 2 sets to picture and sound room. The models are KDL 46HX800 for destination AUS and EA. In pic and sound room, General Manager and engineer will check the quality.

Today we got a breafing from one Japan engineer of 3d testing, presence sensor, distance alert and position control. Tanx to Fujimoto.

Sixth week - New Model

New Model began for phase 2. Today i borrowed 2 set of tv KDL 40HX800 (AUS). For each model produced, i need to borrow because i have to to Detail Inspection later on. My job as future engineer required me to do inspection for each tv. Normally the inspection will take about 3-4 days.
Actually there's two types of tv, KDL and KLV. KDL is digital and KLV is analog. In Malaysia we use analog.
For today inspection we found 1 n/g regarding twin picture. N/g stands for not good.

- Rework 63 sets KDL 40EX400 NZ due to improper wire dressing/sandwich
- Rework 26 sets KDL 32EX400 TWN due to sharp bezel. One customer in Taiwan injured
when wiping the bezel.
- Rework 40 sets KLV 32 BX300 IN to change main board.

It's been 1 month i've been undergone my industrial training here. 5 May.. huh.. Seems like still early. This week we're just helping rework.
- Rework 25 sets KLV 40 EX700 ME. Change carton and combi label.

Labour Day

It's holiday today.. Labour day.. But for me, no holiday. It's time to do ot. Moreover, there's some work need to complete. Actually last week we got news that our office need to move. So by next week we need to clear all sets. I'm quite confused actually why must we move. Our supervisor Mr Hakki told that they want to add more production line. That's why they want us to move.
Today our activity is just unpacking 18 sets. This sets are actually drop sets which mean that the sets fall from container at logistic. All sets are aging for 2 days. Details are :-

Today, we got one big issue in morning meeting. Market claim from Japan states that one customer found a thumbdrive in tv set. This problem is a big nono in Sony.
